Storage and handling of lyophilised pepz beauty cosmetics
Temperature, light and moisture: practical guidance for keeping research material stable in the lab.
Published 22 Oct 2026
Keep it cold and dry
Lyophilised pepz beauty cosmetics are most stable frozen (−20 °C) and away from moisture. Repeated temperature cycling should be avoided.
Let it warm before opening
Opening a cold container lets condensation form on the powder. Allow sealed material to reach room temperature first.
Protect from light
Store containers in their outer packaging or in amber storage. Copper complexes such as GHK-Cu are particularly sensitive to light and oxidation.
Record everything
Log the lot number, date received and storage location so that any result can be traced back to its batch record.
